Marketing Manager

Our client in the luxury travel and tourism sector, based in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg, is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager.

The Role:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall implementation of the communication and  marketing for the group and its brand. The strategy would line up with the annual business plan, however it must be flexible to be in line with trends in the market place.
The role includes centralised communication to ensure internal and external stakeholders are updated and informed.
The marketing manager would be the brand’s custodian and look for opportunities to position the various brands to reach their target markets. The role includes working with the team's leadership and management to plan and execute the group marketing strategy, and liaise with all relevant stakeholders in the process. The role includes reviewing data to ensure maximum value.

Requirements:

The suitable candidate must have:

  • a relevant qualification in Marketing and/or Communications.

  • experience in travel, tourism or hospitality.

  • management experience is essential.

You must be prepared to work outside of “9 to 5” hours, be flexible, goal-orientated and resourceful.
